The brief was to create an attractive decked area coming out from the house and stepping down to the garden.
with screening to generate greater privacy using irregular black vertical paled screen,
The rear of the house was clad with Western Red Cedar shingles to cover a patchy rear wall.
Bin storeage was rationalised and tidied at the side of the house. The decked area near to the house
creates an attractive accessible external room for dining and entertaining. The garden is north facing so
a seating area is located at the back of the garden-the perfect place to relax and read a book
looking back at the house. The project was completed in 2016
The decking steps down to a small rear garden with lawn, shrub beds and a herb garden with espallier Apple trees at the far end
